Scenes from Class

"Globalization and Labor: Transforming the World Economy from the Mexico-U.S. Border" is one of the courses students take in order to grapple with the complexities of the Border region.

In their mainstream skit, Jennie and Emma engage in a realistic argument over trade policies on the border.

Evie, Alia, Jennnie, and Emma present their final project, an analysis of globalization on the border from the vantage point of the mainstream media.

Meg, Emily, and Brian critique globalization on the border from the perspective of both mainstream and alternative economics.

The students really ham it up during their final- project group presentations.

Another examination of globalization on the border, this time from the perspective of the Mexican Middle Class.
