Scenes from the Farewell Party

The original Border Studies host family (minus son Erick, who became an Earlham student after meeting the BSP students) with their host daughter Evie.

We also celebrated Brian and Jennie's birthday at the farwell party.

Alia and SG are sad to leave, but excited to begin a new chapter of their lives.

The students have become close friends during the program. Border Studies is very challenging personally, lingually, and academically- the students bond and lean on each other throughout the difficult, yet rewarding semester.

The group gets teary-eyed as the mariachis play a traditional farewell song.
