Search by Author keywords or Title keywords to find items listed in the encyclopedias' bibliographies.

Search by Subject Keywords or Keywords anywhere to find other books that contain information on your subject. Try searching broad subject phrases such as "church history primitive and early church" or "church history middle ages." To remove 17th century electronic books from the search, combine your terms with NOT "eebo."

Indexes journals and magazines in many disciplines, including religion, history, philosophy, the arts, etc. Includes some full text.

Provides full-text of select sets of scholarly journals. For this course, you'll probably want to limit your search to the Religion and History categories.
