Choral Music


Concert Choir

William Culverhouse, Director

Open to all students by audition. This selective 60-voice ensemble performs widely varied repertiore from the 16th through 20th Centuries, both sacred and secular. On-campus performances each semester with additional church and tour appearances.


Women's Chorus

William Culverhouse, Director

Open to all women. This ensemble performs female chorus repertoire from all time periods, both sacred and secular. Several performances each semester, with outreach emphasized. Some "lighter" selections included.

 


Gospel Revelations

Shenita and Patrick Piper, Directors

Open to all students. This ensemble performs traditional and contemporary African-American music, both a cappella and accompanied. On-campus and outreach performances. Gospel Revs toured during spring break of 2002-03

 


Madrigal Singers

William Culverhouse, Director

Open to all Concert Choir members by audition. This 17-voice ensemble sings primarly 16th century madrigals, but frequently performs music from the 19th and 20th centuries as well.
