Student Financial Aid

Since its founding, Earlham has made a promise to itself and to its students: The College will provide an exceptional education to talented students, regardless of their financial means.

Last year, we awarded approximately $17 million in financial aid grants — a large percentage of our total budget. Few schools in America accept such a heavy financial burden and still provide an exceptional education. This approach to financial aid is fundamental to Earlham’s mission and can flourish only through gifts from alumni, parents and friends.

This support allows us to stand together as Earlhamites — from one generation to another — in support of students, community, the very idea of Earlham. It allows us to be the college we want to be and the college our students need us to be.
