Plans for New Sciences Facility

The plan for new and renovated facilities in the sciences was developed by Holabird & Root, one of the nation’s preeminent architectural firms, renowned for its expertise in mechanical engineering and its concern for environmental sustainability.

The plan is divided into three phases, allowing the College to move forward wisely and confidently. At its completion, the project will provide an expansive space for the sciences, optimally configured to encourage interdisciplinary work and to house the most current equipment. It will also serve as a model of sustainable technology, a teaching tool for the community, and a welcoming window into scientific practice.

Purpose and Passion: The Campaign for Earlham will support Phase 1, which includes a new three-story, 38,000 square-foot addition along the western face of Stanley Hall.
