Robert J. Bresler '59
Robert J. Bresler '59 majored in Politics. As a student Rob wrote a column on current affairs for the Earlham Post (now the Word) and had a few minor roles in Mask and Mantle productions. He received his Ph.D. in Politics from Princeton University in 1964 and recently retired after a 44-year teaching career, 32 years of which was at Penn State University — Harrisburg. He currently lives in Lancaster, PA with his wife, Lin. Rob began his term on the Alumni Council in 2002 where he currently serves as Chair and a member of the Recognition Committee. His favorite memories of Earlham are of his numerous friends and classmates, courses with Arthur Funston, Joe Elmore and John Hunt and the semester he spent studying Dostoyevsky and Camus under Wayne Booth.
