Bill Mierisch ’98
Bill Mierisch ’98 majored in Music and minored in Jewish Studies. He served as student tour coordinator for the choir’s 1998 West Coast Tour. After graduate study in musicology at Penn State, he returned to Earlham as an interim faculty member in the Music Department. Bill led the Earlham College Jazz Ensemble on a tour of the southeast in 2003. He is now the director of technology at The Catherine Cook School in Chicago. He began his term on the Alumni Council as the Chicago Alumni Association Convener in 2006. Bill now looks back with fondness on a research trip to Chicago for a Ford/Knight project on Medieval Mediterranean history, taken with Bob Southard, which gave him his first taste of the city he now loves and calls home.
