Leni Skarin '70
Leni Skarin '70 majored in history. As a student she was active with the yearbook, serving as co-editor of the 1969 Sargasso and participated in foreign study to Germany/Austria in 1968. Leni received a Woodrow Wilson fellowship and completed a master’s degree in history at the University of North Carolina (1973). She and husband Bob ’70 live in Yakima, Washington. Leni is a community volunteer and has recently run for the state legislature and served as interim director for the YWCA. She joined Alumni Council in 2000 and currently serves on the Off Campus Affairs Committee. Her favorite memories of Earlham are moments of leading and insight during Clear Creek meeting for worship.
