Eleanor Weatherhead
Eleanor Weatherhead, age 86 of Butler Twp., passed away Monday February 5, 2007 at Trinity Community Home in Beavercreek after a lengthy illness. She was born September 2, 1920 in Richmond, IN. Eleanor was a retired schoolteacher from the Northridge City Schools with over 30 years of service. She was a 60 year member of the Faith United Church of Christ formerly known as the Hale Church where she was the Sunday School Superintendent and was a member of the church Consistory and the Women's Guild. Eleanor was a member of the Christian Chapter O.E.S. #241 in Bradford; was formerly on the O.E.A. Board of Directors, and was a member of various educational associations throughout the state. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman R. Weatherhead and a brother Melvin Russell. She is survived by one daughter, Jane Rosendahl of Seymour, CT; one son James & wife Mary Weatherhead of San Rafael, CA.
