Obituaries:
A. Jeanne Phillips
Achsah Jean Phillips, 82, of Richmond, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, at Arbor Trace. She was born Feb. 20, 1922, in New Paris, Ohio, to Gerald Ray and Theresia Brinley Day Jordan and lived here most of her life. She formerly worked in sales for J.C. Penney's and Elder-Beerman. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She and her husband were loving and faithful to their church, friends and family. Survivors include her son, Robert R. Phillips of Richmond. Her husband of 57 years, Robert E. Phillips, died May 8, 2003.
