Plans are well underway for our 50th Reunion during Homecoming weekend. The committee and the Alumni staff have worked hard to come up with activities for class members and opportunities to meet and catch up with old friends. We are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible in October. There will be more communications coming your way about the weekend, so start making plans to revisit Earlham and Richmond. If you haven't been in the area recently you will be amazed at the changes to both the college and the town. We are anticipating a good turnout of members of the class of '58!

I've moved to Kendal at Longwood, a Quaker related retirement community in Kennett Square, PA- where I keep busy gardening, recycling and protecting our natural resources. I am hoping that my Earlham friends will join me in this "peaceable kingdom." I definitely plan to attend our 50th reunion next year.

I have finally retired. Emlyn and I then took a brief holiday to Cracow, Poland, going by train. Then in June our daughter, Ingrid, had a successful kidney transplant! She has now turned 30, and started dialysis when she was 15, with one working transplant ten years ago which failed after 2 years. Our son works for Sophos anti-virus software in nearby Abingdon. I am planning to attend the 50th reunion next year, though I want to minimize flying so it will mean trains and busses except for crossing the Atlantic.
