Steven Richards Valentine
Rick Valentine has been elected as the new Chairman of the Board of Visitors at the Indiana University School of Law--Indianapolis. Rick is a 1982 graduate of the School. He is a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of the international law firm K&L Gates LLP. Rick and his wife, Susan, live in Alexandria, Virginia. Their two oldest children, Christina, 24 and William, 22, have graduated from college. Steven, 20, is a junior in college. Thomas, 15, a high school junior, and Diana, 12, who is in the seventh grade, remain at home.

William Logan IV
After nine years with the National Research Council's Water Science and Technology Board, I have a new gig as Deputy Director of the International Center for Integrated Water Resources Management. It's related to the International Hydrological Programme, which is part of UNESCO. This year I'll mostly be at the U.S. Mission to UNESCO in Paris - "Good work if you can get it." Amelia still works as a geochemist assaulting priceless gems and crystals with x-rays and electrons at the Smithsonian's Natural History Museum. Jennifer's 15 and young William six. Greetings to all.

Obituaries:
Scott F. Clark
Scott Fitzgerald Clark, 52, of Elm Street, died Monday, August 3, 2009 at Noble Hospital. Born in Springfield, November 22, 1956, Scott was the son of Edward Mansfield and Janet (MacLellan) Clark. Scott was a member of the First Church of Christ in Longmeadow and was an avid musician. He is survived by his parents, Edward Mansfield Clark and Janet (MacLellan) Clark of Naples, FL; his two brothers, David M. Clark of Virginia and Andrew S. Clark of Massachusetts; his sister, Cathy Clark of Virginia; his good friend Amy Coleman of Westfield and several nieces and nephews.
