This fall I traveled cross-country from Arizona to New York with my boyfriend, Sean Ryan. We visited the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park (UT), Mesa Verde National Park (CO), Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park (CO), as well as some Earlham friends along the way. We visited Dara Curtin, who is living in Denver and studying art at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. We then traveled to Hutchinson, KS to see Casey Jones who works as a city planner. Of course, the trip wouldn’t have been complete without a visit to Earlham! We took a walk around campus and enjoyed the beautiful weather. I recently returned from a week working in London where I was able to meet up with Casi Kroth. Casi is interning at Deutsche Bank for a year. If anyone needs a couch to sleep on in London, get in touch with him. He has plenty of space! In about two weeks, I will be off to San Francisco to interview candidates for the Mountbatten Internship Programme in London. Although I am disappointed that I will miss the Earlham alumni event in New York, I look forward to reconnecting with Ariel Boone-Worthman, Josh McCoy ’04 and Damaris Junge. I am thankful for my Earlham friends all over the world and for my job, which allows me to travel frequently (to see them)!

"In August 2009 I moved from Michigan to Austin, TX! I am thrilled to be living in a place with delicious BBQ and extended t-shirt weather. I currently work for a chiropractic clinic and have been doing more writing in my free time. Austin is a great city for Earlhamites and visitors are always welcome!"
