I am happily settled with Earlham classmate and pardner Seth Hopper. To clarify, when Seth writes that we "tied the knot" in April, he is referring to the fact that we have together completed the Wyoming Search and Rescue Certification Course in knot-tying. In July Seth will begin work as Assistant Winchman on a helicopter rescue team. I continue to take much joy in my pottery.

Nico Houghton
I am currently celebrating my graduation from graduate school with a needed trip to Miami for a week in the sun! This past weekend I received my Masters of Science in Nursing, which will allow me to sit for a board exam in July to become an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Needless to say, I am quite excited, and am enjoying exploring the many job opportunities. In the meantime I continue to work as a Registered Nurse on a Trauma Surgical in-patient unit at Massachusetts General Hospital. Fun!

Gabriel Fuson
Gabriel Chester Fuson is now living in Oakland but is still a Staff Geologist for Kleinfelder, an engineering and environmental consulting firm. He has been living with Nathan Henderson '06, who will be moving to Spain in June '08. GCF has been focused on singing/songwriting, playing guitar and drums, and has thoughts of renting a piano. He has now been a part of the San Francisco Bach Choir for almost two years. He plays at open mic nights from time to time in the East Bay, and hopes soon to record a CD with his brother Josh Fuson '01. Gabe warmly welcomes calls and visits!

Carrie Seltzer
I'm about to finish my first year of a Ph.D. program in Ecology and Evolution at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I'm spending a month in Tanzania this summer to start planning my Ph.D. research which will be conducted there over the next few years. Matt Grosso and I are living in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago and loving it. We've always got room to spare for visiting Earlhamites.

Coco Shea
In June I graduate from the University of Illinois with a J.D. and a M.S. in Natural Resources and Environmental Science. After spending my summer studying for the bar I'll start working at Mayer Brown, LLP. I'm looking forward to being back in Chicago, playing frisbee, and hanging out with all my Chicago-located Earlham friends.

Seth tied the knot in April with fellow alumnus Tim Shenk. They live on a ranch with 200 dogies in northwestern Wyoming. There, they throw bolos, parties and pottery. Tim is also teaching pottery classes.

Well, after an intense year of being in graduate school, I finally completed my MBA studies at American InterContinental University in London in March! I still need to finish my dissertation which is due by June but in the meantime, as a graduation gift to myself, I am traveling around Europe (Scotland, Ireland, Spain, France, Italy, and maybe Germany). Soon I guess I will be looking for a job here in the UK and to answer those who have asked me whether I am moving back to the states, time will only tell...
