Thom Deahl '85 majored in Biology. As a student he worked in the Earlham Computing Center all 4 years, and he participated in football and the Young Republicans Club. He obtained a master's degree in environmental health science from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and he has published in areas of radiation biology and genomics.
Thom is now a toxicologist and much of his current work is in informatics. Thom enjoyed travel and theater while at Earlham, and he became co-convener for the Indianapolis Regional Alumni Association in the fall of 2005.
