Robin Ontko Casale '85 majored in Chemistry. As a student she participated in Gospel Revelations on campus, was a Hall Convener, Chemistry and Math TA, and supported the Inter-Library Loan program between Earlham and Miami of Ohio. She completed her M.S. in Chemistry from Eastern Kentucky University in 1996 and M.S. in Engineering Management from The New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2000.

Robin is "empty-nesting" in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, while her son, Tyler Smith, attends University of Central Florida. She has been employed by American Water for 23 years and is currently an Operations Manager.

Robin began her term on the Alumni Council in Fall 2011. Looking back at her time at Earlham, Robin cherishes the time spent with friends, all the hours logged in Stanley and Dennis Halls as well as her "escapes" over to Carpenter Hall. Being part of the Oak Ridge Science Semester in fall of 1984 was an additional EC highlight.
