Friends United Meeting: Kenya

This collection features photographs illustrating the activites of the Friends United Meeting mission in Kenya, Africa. Photographs depicted vary in subject matter including the construction of new schools, portraits of particpants and a few oddities like dead baboons. Hopefully this collection will allow a glimpse into the organization and functions of a Quaker mission abroad.  

FUM: Ramallah, Palestine

In the turn of the 20th century Friends United Meeting created two schools in Ramallah, Palestine. One school was the Friends Girls School, the other the Friends Boys School. Still active today these schools have grown in attendence and currently practice a coeducational learning environment. Included in this collection are photographs of students and faculty during the early years of the Ramallah Friends School.
