Wayne County Women's Fund Annual Auction

February 2014

Nancy Scarf Prize

Fibers professor Nancy Taylor won first prize for a scarf that she donated to the Wayne County Women's Fund Annual Auction.  This hand-woven and-dyed silk scarf features natural dyes extracted from local plants, discovered through the collaborative Ford/Knight research project that Nancy led during the fall semester, 2013.  Visit the "Colors of Earlham" website.

Each year Earlham artists donate works for this fundraiser to benefit local organizations.
