Thalia Little Putney

Thalia Little Putney ’57 (2007)

Thalia Little Putney played four years of field hockey at Earlham and was the team captain her senior year. She was a member of the Miami Valley All-Star Team for two years and was selected to play in the national tournament in her final two seasons at Earlham. As a senior, she served as the Parliamentarian and Treasurer of her senior class.

After leaving Earlham, Thalia Little Putney played on Delaware Field Hockey and New Atlantic Field Hockey Association teams from 1963-87, while officiating from 1976-87. She also coached tennis and field hockey while teaching at the Wilmington Friends School from 1974-92.
