Ron Williams (2005)
Ron Williams ’ 70 was a four-year
baseball player at Earlham College. He was an All-Hoosier College
Conference performer four times and a member of the 1969 team that
won 21 games and went to the National Association of Intercollegiate
Athletics District 21 playoffs. In 1970, the Quakers won 26 games
as he was selected the team’s Most Valuable Player for the
third straight season. Williams was a District 21 All-Star in 1969
and 1970 and was one of Earlham’s top pitchers with a career
earned run average of 1.75, while batting .330 in 118 games. |
