Frank Truster (2006)
Frank Truster ’77 was a 4-year football player at Earlham College from 1973-76. He was All-Hoosier-Buckeye Collegiate Conference, All-National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) District 21 three times and a two-time NAIA All-American. He received the George Van Dyke Award in 1977.
After graduation in fall of 1977, he served as an assistant football coach at Earlham. He was an officer in the United States Navy in Virginia from 1982-86. Truster was a teacher and guidance counselor for 18 years before retiring in 1995. He was a 2001 inductee into the Indiana Football Hall of Fame.
