Three Players Score in Double Digits
as Quakers Fall For Immediate Release:

WOOSTER, Ohio — The Earlham College men’s basketball team had three players in double figures on Saturday as the Quakers fell to No. 23 College of Wooster 89-68 in a North Coast Athletic Conference contest.
Senior Nick Welsh (Muncie, IN/Wes-Del) led the Quakers with 23 points and nine rebounds with first-year Mark Yost (Lenox, MA/Lee) scoring a career-high 19 points Yost’s previous best this season was 14 points against Oberlin and Baldwin-Wallace.
Junior Tristian Gregory (Evansville, IN/Harrison) added 16 points, while sophomore Justin Carter (Indianapolis, IN/Northwest) finished with five points and a team-high seven assists.

The game was tight early with the score tied 15-15 with 12:19 remaining in the opening period, but by halftime Wooster gained control with a 15-5 run to lead 40-25 at intermission.
In the second half, the Quakers cut the deficit to 44-34 on a basket by Gregory with 17:31 left. Wooster (14-3, 7-1) eventually held a 24-point advantage by the 11:36 mark before the Quakers came back to within 15 points late in the game.
Earlham (2-15, 0-8) entertains Denison University on Wednesday. The NCAC affair on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center begins at 7:30 p.m. Box score.
