Mahle Finishes 9th to Lead Quakers at GLCA Meet

GAMBIER, Ohio — Senior Dan Mahle led the Earlham College men’s cross country team on Saturday as the Quakers participated in the Great Lakes Colleges Association Championships at Kenyon College.

Mahle (Boulder, CO/Shining Mountain Waldorf ) was ninth in the 8K race finishing in 27:31.0.

The other Earlham runners to score were:
• Senior Mark Boylan (Holliston, MA/Holliston) 44th in 28:45.6
• Sophomore Evan Fackler (Shelby, OH/Plymouth) 45th in 28:46.6
• Sophomore Adam Tobin (Weston, CT/Weston) 72nd in 30:08.6
• Junior James Haley (Bloomington, IN/South) 84th in 30:57.5  

As a team the Quakers finished eighth of nine squads. Wabash College won the meet.
