Quakers Entertain 11 Teams in Earlham Invitational

RICHMOND, Ind. — Earlham College senior Dan Mahle led the the Earlham College men’s cross country team on Saturday with a fourth place finish in the Earlham Invitational.
Mahle (Boulder, CO/Shining Mountain Waldorf ) ran a personal best on Earlham’s 8K course with a 27:06.
The other Earlham runners to score were:
• Sophomore Adam Tobin (Weston, CT/Weston) 27th in 28:33.
• Sophomore Evan Fackler (Shelby, OH/Plymouth) 39th in 28:55.
• Senior Mark Boylan (Holliston, MA/Holliston) 53rd in 29:35
• First-year Nathaniel Welch (Newburyport, MA/Newburyport) 75th in 30:46.
Earlham was 6th of 11 teams in the event with Otterbein College winning the meet.
Next up for the Quakers is the Wilmington College Classic on Friday, Oct. 12. The meet gets underway at 4:30 p.m.
