Quakers Compete in Wilmington Fall Classic

WILMINGTON, Ohio — The Earlham College men’s cross country squad participated in the Wilmington Fall Classic on Friday afternoon.
Senior Dan Mahle (Boulder, CO/Shining Mountain Waldorf) was the top finisher for the Quakers ending the race in 39th with time of 27:03.39.
The other Earlham runners to score were:
• Sophomore Evan Fackler (Shelby, OH/Plymouth) 52nd in 27:22.81.
• Sophomore Adam Tobin (Weston, CT/Weston) 71st in 27:53.34.
• Senior Mark Boylan (Holliston, MA/Holliston) 85th in 28:12.41.
• First-year Nathaniel Welch (Newburyport, MA/Newburyport) 115th in 29:06.76.
Earlham was 9th of 20 teams in the event with Shawnee State claiming the title.
The North Coast Athletic Conference Championships at Kenyon College is next on the schedule for the Quakers on Saturday, Oct. 27. The meet gets underway at 4:30 p.m.
