Quakers Compete in NCAA Div. III Regional

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The season came to an end for the Earlham College men’s cross country team on Saturday as the Quakers participated in the NCAA Div. III Great Lakes Regional at Calvin College.
Senior Dan Mahle (Boulder, CO/Shining Mountain Waldorf) was the top performer for the Quakers with a 51st place with a time of 26:12.40.
The other Earlham runners to score were:
• Sophomore Adam Tobin (Weston, CT/Weston) 149th in 27:38.75.
• Sophomore Evan Fackler (Shelby, OH/Plymouth) 151st in 27:40.15.
• Senior Mark Boylan (Holliston, MA/Holliston) 152nd in 27:40.75.
• Junior James Haley (Bloomington, IN/South) 197th in 28:51.80.
Earlham was 24th of 38 teams with Calvin winning the championship. Jed Christiansen of Calvin won the race in 24:51.95.
