Assistant Coach Tom Parkevich
Tom Parkevich, also head baseball coach
at Earlham, added the duties of defensive coordinator in 1999 after
coaching the linebackers for the previous two years. This fall he
will once again mold the defense as well as coach the linebackers.
Tom enters his ninth season on the Quaker staff.
A native of Logansport, Ind., Parkevich
is a 1991 graduate of Mount Senario College where he was a two-time
all-conference honoree at inside linebacker and team MVP as a senior.
During the summers of 1990 and 1991,
he played inside linebacker and coordinated the defense for the Stoke-on-Trent
Spitfires in England. He came to Earlham from Blackburn College where
he was the defensive coordinator and head baseball coach. His wife,
Michelle, is assistant director of financial aid at Earlham. Tom
and Michelle live in Richmond and have three children, Beau, Levi
and Veronica.
