Keesling Announces Team Awards for 2007; Terrel Brown Named Most Valuable Player

RICHMOND, Ind. — Senior Terrel Brown was named the Most Valuable Player for the Earlham College football team on Sunday afternoon.
Brown (Richmond, IN/Richmond) played offense, defense and special teams for the Quakers and had a variety of statistics. He rushed for five touchdowns, caught one touchdown pass and threw for another. Defensively, he had 39 tackles, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and a blocked kick. He also received the Captain’s Cup.
The other awards announced by Earlham Head Coach Gerry Keesling on Sunday were:
• Shane Smith Award: Senior Carl Moravec (Oak Park, IL/Oak Park).
• Special Teams: First-year Austin Manahan (Orlando, FL/University).
• Offense Line: Junior Juan Hernandez (Kendallville, IN/East Noble).
• Defensive Line: Senior Evan Williamson (Fountain City, IN/Northeastern).
• Offensive Perimeter: Senior Joe White (Richmond, IN/Richmond).
• Defensive Perimeter: Sophomore Cale Gulliford (Marion, IN/Marion).
• Newcomer: First-year Bryant Foreman (Mechanicsburg, OH/ Northeastern).
• Most Improved: Sophomore Adam LaFollette (Riverview, FL/Riverview).
