Assistant Coach Andy Hape
Andy Hape begins his fourth season with the Quakers after spending two years as offensive line coach at Webber International University and three as head offensive line coach at Lake Wales High School, both in Florida.
In addition, Hape served the past seven years as a coordinator and coach for the offensive run sections of the Bishop-Dullaghan Down and Dirty Lineman Camps in Florida, Indiana and Kentucky. He is the program's offensive run coordinator and will continue his duties with the offensive line. In addition to his coaching duties, Andy serves as assistant athletic director and professor in the Athletic and Wellness program.
"Andy has already made strides in taking our offense toward the status we aspire," Keesling said. “He is committed to helping us become one of the nation’s top offensive football teams.”
Hape played football at Western Kentucky University where, as an offensive lineman, he was selected for All-America honors in 1997 and 1998 and was the school’s most valuable offensive player in 1998.
Andy graduated from Evansville Reitz High School. He and his wife, Kristi, and daughters, Amelia and Sophie, live in Richmond.
