WOOSTER, Ohio —
A second half goal off a penalty kick was the difference on Saturday as Wooster defeated the Earlham College men’s soccer team 2-1.

The Wooster score at 76:31 broke the 1-1 deadlock in the North Coast Athletic Conference match. Earlham first-year Victor Anciano (San Antonio-Altos, Venezuela/Armand Hammer) tied the contest at 69:24 finding the net on a loose ball after a corner kick.

Earlham junior goalkeeper Jon O’Neil (West Lafayette, IN/West Lafayette) had five saves.

The Quakers (3-9, 0-3) entertain Wabash College Tuesday on Matlack Field. The NCAC contest begins at 4 p.m. Box score
