Early Goal Hurts Quakers in NCAC Match

MEADVILLE, Pa. — A goal in the first minute was the difference on Saturday as the Earlham College men’s soccer team dropped 1-0 decision to Allegheny College in a North Coast Athletic Conference match.
Allegheny scored 32 seconds into the contest off a free kick. Earlham first-year goalkeeper Kyle Thompson (Elmhurst, IL/York Community) had three saves for the Quakers.
The Gators led 14-4 in shots and 8-1 in corner kicks.
Earlham (3-7, 0-2) is at Manchester College on Wednesday. The non-conference match starts at 4:30 p.m. Box score.
