Men's Soccer Asingura Named NCAC Player of the Week
For Immediate Release: RICHMOND, Ind. — Earlham College first-year men’s soccer player Bannett Asingura was honored by the North Coast Athletic Conference on Sunday. Asingura (Mbarara, Uganda/United World College) was named NCAC Player of the Week after scoring both goals on Saturday, Oct. 6, as the Earlham College men’s soccer team defeated Oberlin College 2-1 in overtime on Matlack Field. The first score by Asingura gave the Quakers a 1-0 lead in the opening half, and then he scored the game-winner at 96:26 in overtime.
