Quakers Fall to NCAC Foe Hiram College

RICHMOND, Ind. — Four goals in the second half hurt the Earlham College men’s soccer team as the Quakers fell 4-0 to Hiram College in a North Coast Athletic Conference match on Matlack Field.
After a scoreless first period, Hiram (10-2-2, 2-2-1) scored its initial goal at 59:55. The Terriers other three scores occurred at 73:18, 81:10 and 88:39.
Earlham first-year goalkeeper Jonah Kreiske (New York, NY Manhattan Center for Science and Math) had three saves before being relieved by classmate Kyle Thompson (Elmhurst, IL/York Community).
Hiram led 13-7 in shots and 4-2 in corner kicks.
The Quakers (5-9, 2-3) play at Wittenberg University on Tuesday. The NCAC match begins at 7 p.m.
