Three Players Honored by NCAC

RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College men’s soccer had three players honored by the North Coast Athletic Conference on Wednesday.
First-year Bannett Asingura (Mbarara, Uganda/United World College) was named to the All-NCAC Second Team after leading the Quakers in scoring with 10 goals and six assists. Late in the season, he was honored as NCAC Player of the Week. He also scored four goals, while adding an assist in a 5-0 win over Denison University.
Seniors Atiq Zamani (Bloomington, IN/North) and Chris Sloan (Bethesda, MD/Sidwell Friends) received All-NCAC Honorable Mention. Both players scored four goals each this season. Zamani had a pair of goals in the last 2:17 of Earlham’s 2-1 win over Wabash.
The Quakers finished 7-11 on the season with a 4-5 conference mark.
