Beat Huntington on the Road

HUNTINGTON, Ind. — The Earlham College
men’s tennis team rebounded after two straight losses with
non-conference victory on Tuesday as the Quakers defeated Huntington
University 5-2.
Earlham took the doubles point in the men’s
match with wins at No. 1 from team of junior Scott Miller (Greensburg,
IN/Greensburg)
and senior Nate Henderson (Hyde Park, MA/Concord) and the No. 2 duo
of senior Andy Nelson (Mantoloking, NJ/St. Mark’s School) and
junior Pete DiLalla (Cleveland Heights, OH/Cleveland Heights).
Nelson, Henderson, DiLalla and first-year Shiro
Fukuzawa (Nagano, Japan) all were victorious in singles. “It was good for us
to get back on track with a win,” Earlham coach Justin Carrier
said.
The next match for Earlham (5-2) is at Rose-Hulman
on Wednesday at 5 p.m. Scoresheet.
