Quakers
End Season in NCAC Tournament

GAMBIER,
Ohio — The Earlham College men’s tennis team
finished the spring with a pair of losses on Sunday in the North
Coast Athletic Conference Tournament hosted by Kenyon College.
Earlham fell 4-3 to Wabash College in the battle for seventh place,
after the Quakers dropped the first match of the day to Wittenberg
University 4-1. Both contests were played at Memorial Park.
Senior Andy Nelson (Mantoloking, NJ/St. Mark’s
School) won three matches to lead the Quakers.
Nelson won at No. 2 singles for the only victory against Wittenberg.
Against Wabash, Nelson was victorious again at No. 2 singles after
teaming with junior Peter DiLalla (Cleveland Heights, OH/Cleveland
Heights) for a victory at No. 2 doubles.
Also against Wabash, senior Nate Henderson (Hyde Park, MA/Concord)
won at No. 3 singles, while DiLalla took his match at No. 4 singles.
Earlham ends the season at 9-7. Wittenberg
