FRANKLIN, Ind. — The Earlham College men’s tennis team played outdoors for the first time this spring as the Quakers fell 8-1 on Saturday to Franklin College.
Senior Scott Miller (Greensburg, IN/Greensburg) was the only winner for the Quakers taking his match over Joe Merrick 7-6 (1), 6-1 at No. 1 singles.
“It was hard for us to make the transition going outdoors with the windy conditions,” Earlham Head Coach Justin Carrier said.
Earlham (0-3) plays in the Kerry Seward Invitational at Wabash College on March 24-25. Scoresheet.— EC —
