Winning Streak Comes to an End

FT. WAYNE, Ind. — The Earlham College men’s tennis team had its two-match winning streak snapped on Saturday as the Quakers dropped an 8-1 decision to Indiana Tech.
Senior Scott Miller (Greensburg, IN/Greensburg) beat Jose Villavisencio 6-4, 6-3 for Earlham’s victory. “This is the second time this season that Scott has defeated an opponent that beat him last year,” Earlham Head Coach Justin Carrier said.
Earlham’s match against Aquinas College that was scheduled for Saturday was canceled.
The Quakers (2-4) face Wabash College at home on Wednesday. The North Coast Athletic Conference match is at 4 p.m. Scoresheet.
