Quakers Compete in NCAC Championships

GAMBIER, Ohio — Junior Michelle Crane was the top finisher for the Earlham College women’s cross country team as the Quakers competed in the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday at Kenyon College.

Crane (Mansfield, OH/St. Peter's) was 34th with a time of 24:57.

The other Earlham runners to score for the were:
• Senior Anna Chatfield (Doylestown, OH/Chipewa) 44th in 25:49.
• First-year Caryn Wixom (St. Louis, MO/Rosati-Kain) 46th in 26:04.
• Senior Rebecca Tolmach (Atlanta, GA/Grady) 50th in 26:23.
• First-year Rosalie De Lombaert (Madison, CT/Daniel Hand) 54th in 26:50.

The Quakers were 8th of nine teams with Allegheny College winning the event.

Earlham is slated to participate in the NCAA Div. III Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 10, in Grand Rapids, Mich. The meet begins at 11 a.m.
