Quakers drop NCAC match on Comstock Field

RICHMOND, Ind.—
The Earlham College field hockey team continued play in the North Coast Athletic Conference Saturday as the Quakers were defeated 5-1 on Comstock Field by Denison University.

Sophomre Liz Buehler (Hartland, WI/Arrowhead) scored Earlham’s goal in the second half.

Dension out shot the Quakers 11-8 as first-year goalie Katherine McDonough (Louisville, KY/St. Francis) had four saves for the Quakers. “They capitalized on their scoring chances and we didn’t,” Earlham head coach Jill Butcher said.

Earlham (0-12, 0-9) is at Wittenberg University on Wednesday. The NCAC contest begins at 4 p.m. Box score
