Quakers Fall to Denison

RICHMOND, Ind. — A first half goal was the difference Saturday afternoon as the Earlham College field hockey squad fell 1-0 to Denison University in a North Coast Athletic Conference match on Comstock Field.
Sophomore goalkeeper Katherine McDonough (Louisville, KY/St. Francis) had four saves for the Quakers. Denison outshot the Quakers 9-5 and had a 7-2 edge in penalty corners.
Earlham (2-9, 0-7) is at Wittenberg University on Tuesday. The NCAC match starts at 5 p.m. Box Score.
