Quakers Play Denison in Home Opener

RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College field hockey team opened the home portion of its schedule on Comstock Field Saturday afternoon with a 3-1 loss to North Coast Athletic Conference foe Denison University.

Sophomore Cassie Gage (West Carrollton, OH/Kettering Fairmont) scored her fifth goal of the season late in the contest.

Junior Katherine McDonough (Louisville, KY/St. Francis) had two saves for the Quakers.

Earlham (1-3, 0-3) gets a visit from Wittenberg University on Wednesday. The NCAC match is at 5 p.m. Box score.
