Quakers Face NCAC Foe Wittenberg

RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College field hockey team fell 5-1 Tuesday on Comstock Field to North Coast Athletic Conference opponent Wittenberg University.
Sophomore Cassie Gage (West Carrollton, OH/Fairmont) scored her sixth goal in the first half to tie the score at 1-1. Sophomore Nicole VanScyoc (Kettering, OH/Fairmont) was credited with the assist.
After the match was tied at intermission, Wittenberg scored four times in the second half.
Junior Katherine McDonough (Louisville, KY/St. Francis) had six saves for the Quakers.
Earlham (1-4, 0-4) entertains the College of Wooster on Saturday. The NCAC match begins at 1 p.m. Box score.
