Quakers Fall in 2007 Home Finale

RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College field hockey team finished the home portion of its schedule Wednesday afternoon with a 4-0 loss to Kenyon College on Comstock Field.
Kenyon had two goals in each half of the North Coast Athletic Conference contest with the Ladies holding a 16-8 edge in shots. The Quakers had a 12-11 advantage in penalty corners.
Junior goalie Katherine McDonough (Louisville, KY/St. Francis) had eight saves for the Quakers.
Wednesday was the final home contest in the careers of seniors Liz Buehler (Hartland, WI/Arrowhead) and Anna Benfield (Takoma Park, MD/Montgomery Blair).
Earlham (3-11, 0-11) closes out the season Saturday at the College of Wooster. The NCAC match is at 12:30 p.m. Box score.
