Quakers begin season at Swarthmore

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — The Earlham College women's soccer team opened the season on Saturday with a 1-0 double overtime loss to Swarthmore in the Kick Classic. More.

Swarthmore out shot the Quakers 16-11 and senior goalkeeper Kari Wilder-Romans (Ann Arbor, MI/Pioneer) made six saves until Swarthmore scored the game winning goal at the 1:09:26 mark of the second extra session.

Earlham (0-1) plays Alvernia at 9 a.m. on Sunday on the final day of the Kick Classic.
