Quakers fall in conference opener

MEADVILLE, Pa. — After winning three straight matches
and not losing in
six in a row, the Earlham College women’s soccer team fell on Saturday
in its North Coast Athletic Conference opener.
Allegheny College defeated the Quakers 2-0 by scoring
a goal in each half. Earlham senior goalkeeper Kari Wilder-Romans
(Ann Arbor, MI/Pioneer) had five saves.
Earlham (6-3-1, 0-1) entertains Wittenberg University on Wednesday.
