Quakers rally to beat Anderson

ANDERSON, Ind. —
The Earlham women's soccer team scored three times in the second half on Thursday to post a 3-1 win over Anderson University.
After Anderson took a 1-0 lead early in the second half, first-year Emily Roth (Evanston, IL/Evanston Township) tied the contest with her second goal of the season at 58:30.
Sophomore Harriet Rollitt (Odessa, FL/United World) scored the first goal of her career to put the Quakers in front for good at 71:39 with sophomore Maddie Daskovsky (Chicago, IL/Evanston Township) assisting on the tally.
First-year Franny Newport (Toledo, OH/St. Ursula) added Earlham's final score at 78:10 with junior Hailee Carter (Middletown, OH/Lakota East) picking up the assist.
Earlham out shot the Ravens 15-6, while holding a 9-3 edge in corners. Senior goalie Casie Byrd (Bloomington, IN/North) had four saves.
Earlham (2-3) visits Hanover College on Saturday. The non-conference match is at 1 p.m.
