Duchon Named Player of the Week for Second Time
For Immediate Release:
Sept. 23, 2007
RICHMOND, Ind. — Earlham College first-year Karman Duchon was honored on Sunday by the North Coast Athletic Conference as the Player of the Week for women’s soccer.
This is the second time this season that Duchon (Decatur, GA/Decatur) received the award after also getting it on Sept. 4. She scored two goals and added three assists as the Quakers defeated Adrian College 4-0 and beat St. Mary-of-the-Woods College 5-1 during the past week.
Saturday’s victory over St. Mary-of-the-Woods was the fourth win in a row for Earlham, which is the most consecutive victories for the Quakers since the 1999 team won four straight.
The Quakers (6-1-1) travel to Manchester College on Tuesday. The non-conference contest begins at 4:30 p.m.
