Team Awards Announced

RICHMOND, Ind. — Junior Maddie Daskovsky picked up the top team award for the Earlham College women’s soccer team on Tuesday as she was voted the Player’s Player of the Year for the second straight season.

The other team awards handed out by Earlham Head Coach Jim Watts were Newcomer of the Year to first-year Karman Duchon (Decatur, GA/Decatur), while junior Elby O’Neil (West Lafayette, IN/West Lafayette) received the Mental Attitude Award. Sophomore Amy Boxell (Andover, MA/Andover) was named the Most Improved Player.

Daskovsky (Evanston, IL/Evanston Township) was selected as All-NCAC Second Team. The midfielder had eight goals and three assists, which was fifth best point total in the NCAC.

Duchon was also named North Coast Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year, while earning a spot on the All-NCAC First Team. She was named NCAC Player of the Week twice during the season, led the Quakers and the conference in scoring with 13 goals and 11 assists. O’Neil was All-NCAC Honorable Mention.
